Semper Fit, a boxing gym in Freehold NJ, aims to help everyone from the beginner to the elite athlete attain their health and physical fitness goals. Semper Fi, short for Semper Fidelis which means always faithful, is the motto used by the United States Marine Corps. Here at Semper FIt Boxing Club we carry this motto into our gym treating it as a place of camaraderie and community with a loyalty to our member’s health and physical fitness journey. We offer boxing, boot camp & fitness classes as well as personal training, one on one boxing training, and nutritional counseling. With our state of the art facility and experienced training and nutrition team, members will not have to look any further on their journey to health, fitness, and overall well-being. Johnny Rodriguez was born in raised in the Bronx, New York. With the calling to serve his country from a young age, Johnny was enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in which he served four years honorably. He is also an undefeated amateur boxer, winning multiple tournaments at various weight classes. Johnny Is currently a certified USA boxing coach.
Johnny believes that health and fitness goals can be reached through hard but smart training with discipline and determination. His goal is to push his clients passed their physical limits and re-discover themselves; in some cases clients have discovered a completely different person within themselves. He designs his training regiments to challenge your muscles and cardiovascular system while focusing on the mind/body connection. Every session Implements plyometrics, aerobic and anaerobic training as well as boxing and bootcamp style training
